Invitation

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, we invite scientists and students from all over the world to the 10th International Symposium on Advanced Organic Photonics (ISAOP‐10) and 1st International Symposium on Super‐hybrid Materials (ISSM‐1) which will be held in Tokyo and Sendai, Japan from Sepember 28th to October 2nd, 2010.

The scientific program will concern with all aspects of Functional Organic/Polymeric Materials for Advanced Photonics and Inorganic/Organic Nano‐hybrid Materials including Nanoparticle Technology for Optoelectronics, Power Electronics, and Microelectronics, which have potential widespread applications in such diverse areas due to their unique combination of physical and chemical properties.

This symposium is organized to bring together scientists and engineers who are interested in such functional materials, to review and assess the current state of knowledge, to provide a forum for exchange and cross‐fertilization of ideas, and to define problem areas which need intensified efforts.

We would like to cordially invite you to attend the conference and submit papers to ISAOP‐10 & ISSM‐1 symposium to report on your work and experiences in the sciences and technologies related to the research fields mentioned above. The meeting will be configured to maximally disseminate useful information to materials and device users, manufacturers, academics, and students.

The conference will be held at the Kuramae Hall in Ookayama Campus, Tokyo Institute of Technology in Tokyo and at *** Hall in Katahira Campus, Tohoku Universityl in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. On the first morning, there will be a plenary session, which will be followed by three and half days of invited lectures and technical presentations, both oral and poster. The special Poster Award for Excellence will be granted at the conference. A banquet will be held during the conference to provide a unique opportunity to renew friendships with colleagues and friends, and meet students.
We are eagerly looking forward to your participation in the symposium, which you will find to be an enjoyable experience.

We are looking forward to seeing you at Tokyo and Sendai.
